How the Florida permit test works

To get your learner's license in Florida you have to pass the Class E Knowledge Exam. You can take it at a driver license office or, if you are under 18, online through an approved provider.

The exam has 50 multiple choice questions about Florida traffic laws, safe driving and road signs. You pass with at least 40 correct answers, that is 80 percent.
